Colleen Freese

Colleen developed a deep-rooted love for group fitness over ten years ago as a student, and knew that she had found her calling as an instructor when she took the plunge and certified in her first specialty format. Since then, Colleen has added her ACE Group Fitness Certification, and is a Savvier Fitness Master Trainer for Barre Above, Extreme HIIT Chaos, and Balletone. Colleen’s main passion is training and mentoring new instructors and helping them find their unique voice in the fitness industry. Colleen’s classes are fun, challenging, and all-inclusive. Her go-to phrase in her classes is: “Exercise is a celebration of what our bodies can do! Not a punishment for what we ate!”

When Colleen isn’t teaching classes and helping others find joy through movement, she and her husband love spending time with their two young sons, hiking, being outside (when it’s not raining), cooking, being with family, and exploring Washington State.

High Fitness

Think Old School Aerobics made Modern. Cardio and toning meets Jane Fonda with a side of Richard Simmons. You will have a blast, see real results both physically and mentally, and leave this class wanting more because it’s so much fun!

Strength & Sculpt

Build strength, add definition, increase bone density, and decrease body fat by INCREASING lean muscle! Research has proven that by adding lean muscle to the body, you can speed up your metabolism, and burn more calories working out and at rest. Using hand weights to change the shape of your body – no muscle gets neglected! This is a low-impact class (no jumping, no burpees) but will leave you sweating and challenged! We work “to the beat” of the music and have a total blast! Equipment needed: light weights, mid-range weights, heavy weights for lower body, and a mat for floor work.


Tabata offers short bursts of peak effort using the formula of a work/rest ratio of 2:1. The class includes alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise. They have even shorter, less-intense recovery periods. With a variety of exercises and methods for this training, you’ll always be targeting major muscle groups for a whole-body workout.

 Tabata interval training is one of the most effective types of high intensity interval training. Through a variety of simple, yet intense exercises, each class will blast the calories and provide noticeable results in a short amount of time. Whether your goal is muscle tone, weight loss, or both, this class will provide what you are looking for.

Cardio Sculpt

Colleen mixes it up with the perfect blend of choreographed strength routines and energetic cardio routines making sure you’re torching calories, building lean muscle, and revving your metabolism for hours after class is finished. Combining total body muscle endurance with bursts of heart-pumping cardio, you’ll leave feeling challenged, successful, and begging for the next class!
