Colleen developed a deep-rooted love for group fitness over ten years ago as a student and knew that she had found her calling as an instructor when she took the plunge and certified in her first specialty format. Since then, Colleen has added her ACE Group Fitness Certification, and is a Savvier Fitness Master Trainer for Barre Above, Extreme HIIT Chaos, and Balletone. Colleen’s main passion is training and mentoring new instructors and helping them find their unique voice in the fitness industry. Colleen’s classes are fun, challenging, and all-inclusive. Her go-to phrase in her classes is: “Exercise is a celebration of what our bodies can do! Not a punishment for what we ate!”
When Colleen isn’t teaching classes and helping others find joy through movement, she and her husband love spending time with their two young sons, hiking, being outside (when it’s not raining), cooking, being with family, and exploring Washington State.

Tabata Sculpt Fusion
Colleen has combined her two most requested classes into one jam-packed hour of sweaty fun! You’ll get the best of both worlds with 30 minutes of Tabata and 30 minutes of Strength & Sculpt!
First, we “hit the beat” with Strength & Sculpt where we move to the beat of the music to build strength, add definition, increase bone density, and decrease body fat by INCREASING lean muscle! Then, we Tabata which offers short bursts of peak effort using the formula of a work/rest ratio of 2:1. The class includes alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise. They have even shorter, less-intense recovery periods. With a variety of exercises and methods for this training, you’ll always be targeting major muscle groups for a whole-body workout.
