Manuel is a Global Wellness Educator and a Lead Movement Specialist-coordinator at Rancho La Puerta Wellness Resort & Spa. He is a proud Faculty Member for SCW Fitness Education and a WATERinMOTION®️ National Trainer as well as the Creative Designer and Choreographer for the active aging Platinum edition of that same program. He is a valued trainer for BOSU®️, Tabata Bootcamp and Barre Above, and a recipient of the NYC All-Around International Presenter of the Year award among other national and International award recognitions and has been presenting at fitness conferences worldwide for over two decades. Manuel is a continuing education faculty member for SCW, ACE, AFAA, ACSM, AEA and WATERinMOTION®️ and stars in over 70 Fitness Instructor Training Videos. He is also RYT-200 Yoga certified and an AFAA Team Pro and Examiner. Manuel is a former Lead Instructor at the Golden Door Spa in Puerto Rico and now is a Lead instructor at Rancho La Puerta in Tecate, Mexico.
Clap the steps and learn the rhythm. Fuse them together in bilateral sequences and you will freed your body into this vibrant exploration of multi-cultural Latin dance. The class is focused around basic body rhythms inherent in Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa, and ChaCha-Cha. We will build movement over the the basis of rhythm and from there, we build up the challenge of moment in different directions to create the most enjoyable and fun cardio-dance experience.
Dynamic flexibility is important to increase range of motion, core temperature and nervous system activity, all of which prepare your body for enhanced movement and activities of daily living. Learn how to apply a variety of flexibility and stretching techniques as a warm-up, as a recovery after a session or even as a workout in itself. This session will explore range of motion and muscle length in 3D* three planes of motion to enhance your body mobility and abilities.
